1939-45 Contrasting Collar
Utility dress with plain contrasting collar
Plain contrasting collars often with matching sleeve caps were a common feature of print utility dresses.
Contrast adds interest to a design without increasing labour or material used.
It is interesting to note how often a plain crucifix appears; worn on the outside of a dress at this time.
