Apparently a short lived popular fashion achieved by adding a black fur trim to the edge of the collar and occasionally cuffs or buttonhole edge of a plain blouse.

Probably this fur trim was added by the wearer to her blouse when this fashion was in vogue. It is not seen often enough to be considered a major fashion item but worth noting.
